In less than seven days LSA had to move its entire corporate operations and call flow to remote locations, all while volume spiked during the COVID-19 pandemic. Managing Director Scott Cooper and EVP Mauricio Vicente, members of LSA’s senior leadership, helped drive the company’s personnel, technology, customer relations and communication strategies. Scott Cooper is the Managing Director of LSA and its General Counsel. He is involved in all phases of LSA’s operations and strategic trajectory. Prior to joining LSA, he was a partner in an international law firm and head of its Labor & Employment practice. 


Mauricio Vicente
Executive Vice President of Technology and Sales Operations, LSA
Mauricio Vicente, Executive Vice President of Technology and Sales Operations for Language Service Associates, is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the company’s long-term and comprehensive IT vision, mission, and strategy while keeping abreast of new advancements in technology. He is also responsible for defining and adjusting LSA’s IT standards, strategic technology solutions and overall information architecture. Mr. Vicente joined LSA in 2000 as a Call Center Coordinator and was quickly promoted to Project Manager and then Manager of the Translation and Localization division. In 2003, he was promoted again to LSA’s Director of Information Technology. In 2011 he was promoted to Chief Information Officer and a member of the LSA Executive Team. Awarded the “IT Leader of the Year” by SearchCIO-Midmarket as part of its annual IT Leadership Awards Program, Mauricio regularly presents on the topics of technology, innovation, and the global language services industry. 


Ricardo De Biase
Aspect Product Management
Ricardo De Biase has supported the Via CX, CXP and Prophecy products from many different roles at Aspect for the past 7 ½ years, starting in Support, Professional Services, Operations and now Product Management. Ricardo possesses a bachelor’s in science in Information Systems. Prior to Aspect he held roles as Network Administrator, Network Engineer and Systems Administrator with a total of 20 years of experience in Information Technology. Presently Network+, A+, MCSE and AWS Certified.
